Full Job Description
You will be working in the UK and Ireland marketing team, a team of 12 who are responsible for generating and influencing pipeline for the UK&I business in support of priority industries and solutions. We do this through integrated campaigns that span executive engagement, digital marketing, flagship events such as ServiceNow Summits, Knowledge and World Forum, communities and user groups, ABM, pursuit-based marketing and thought leadership. The team works as a partner to sales - both account teams and solutions specialists - and collaborates closely with the EMEA and Global marketing teams. In the role, you will….
- Take an active, and sometimes even lead, role with our flagship events including Knowledge, Summit series and World Forum as well as industry third party events.
- Drive integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with our high touch (industry), executive, and solutions marketing teams within the UKI with the aim of expanding and retaining business within our customer base, and acquiring net new customers
- Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns and use data to optimise performance and make recommendations back to the business
- Blend on-line and off-line activity within a campaign to best target specific contacts/roles in target accounts and what they care about
- Test and trial new ideas for effectiveness and innovation
- Use multiple dashboards to empower our data driven culture and communicate results in language that our stakeholders value and track.
- Work with our partner organisation to identify key partners for joint GTM plans and/or execute upon 'marketing to' efforts such as their sales kick offs.
- Adopt a 'business partner' role for a specific region within the UK and Ireland business which includes: + Understanding pipeline priorities/gaps/trends by region or BU according to your alignment. Connect our programmes from across all three teams to support that specific part of the business. + Demonstrably fluent with marketing and sales reporting dashboards and familiar with top deals in the UK and Ireland business. + Responsible for ensuring your aligned senior sales director and their team can contribute to and are familiar enough to leverage our plans through 1:1s and team meeting/QBR attendance. + Ambassador for sales region into marketing to ensure needs, views and requests are visible, understood and declined/actioned with clear rationale. + As a business partner you are a main point of contact and ambassador for that region but not expected to execute or manage all activity that touches it.
- A passion for working in close collaboration and building trusted relationships with sales stakeholders and understanding our business thoroughly to make a difference
- Extensive experience working on a variety of marketing campaigns from inception to completion, based around the customer journey (70/30 influence/source.)
- Creative and open-minded with a desire to solve problems
- Demonstrated interest in maintaining and developing marketing/communication skills, including current and future developments and trends.
- Prepared to challenge the status quo and actively seek out opportunities for innovation and improvement with a 'customer first' mentality
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment, working in a fast-moving, highly innovative global organisation including excellent communication skills with a strong ability to collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams (as well as agencies) plus solid organisation & project management skills, ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple priorities and a data driven mindset
- Competent skills in modern marketing tools and best practices as well as being able to adapt quicky to internally created processes and systems.
- Good presentation skills, with the ability to address both strategic and tactical needs
- High energy, "own it" personality, and ability to drive process improvement while maintaining agility
