Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of professionals providing strategic competitive positioning guidance to sellers
  • Support, coach, and develop a large, deal-closing capability
  • Develop scalable competitive strategies to enable winning key strategic deals
  • Align the organization around key goals and priorities through partnerships with sales leaders
  • Collaborate with sales and functional leaders within the organization
  • Prepare and give business reviews to management (e.g., quarterly and monthly business reviews)
  • Manage a high volume of engagements and the fast pace of the cloud computing market
  • Track signals and identify opportunities to provide Cloud Intelligence with insight to improve offerings
  • Contribute to the development of deal-support deliverables and educational deliverables
  • Influence internal stakeholders on market realities, with the objective to further differentiate AWS's value

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in leadership roles in sales operations, sales strategy, finance, business development, or other related fields
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing and developing high performance teams
  • Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent

    AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
  • Lead a team of cloud experts focused on arming AWS sellers in the US with AWS differentiators and strategic positioning. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of field-facing resources and removing barriers to adoption of the AWS computing platform across multiple industries. Your team will teach and evangelize differentiation concepts with AWS field sales teams, customers, and with cross-functional marketing, enablement, and product teams. As a strategic partner to sales and external customers, you will identify emerging signals and best practices to serve the broader organization. As a leader, you will aggregate trends, insights, and best practices across the US to influence AWS's sales and go-to-market strategies, as well as AWS product and development roadmaps. We are looking for experience in one or more of the following: sales, business development, sales strategy, team management, competitive intelligence and analysis, and/or sales enablement.
