Our Sustainability/Social Responsibility team partners with internal businesses, suppliers, and service providers on a continuous improvement model, researching and identifying risks in places where we source and operate, and designing solutions to help understand and mitigate those risks and move quickly when violations occur for the benefit of workers globally.

We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager to manage the intake of complaints related to human

rights and environmental issues . The Program Manager will be responsible for managing case review and issue identification, routing cases to appropriate business team or functions for investigation, and supporting applicable reporting requirements. The PM will work cross-functionally with multiple teams (e.g., Employee Relations, Legal, Customer Relations) to ensure high standards of case management and issues resolution are maintained, in line with best practice human rights and environmental due diligence. This role holder will also be required to identify process gaps, streamline workflows and provide recommendations for year on year improvement. This will include understanding existing and emerging legal requirement and analysing trending data to identify common or systems level issues to improve Amazon's human rights and environmental risk management and prevention.

Key job responsibilities

  • Support the development and enhancement of SR's Human Rights and Environmental due diligence program.


  • Create, implement and improve workflows for case management and issue resolution related to Human Rights and Environmental issues.


  • Create, implement and improve systems and processes to meet internal and external reporting requirements


  • Ensure systems and processes meet key regulatory requirements and Human Rights and Environmental due diligence expectations


  • Manage incoming cases systematically, and report out on status/resolution. Convey complex issues in simple terms for all stakeholders.


  • Assess cases to assign correct ownership and systematize case triage.


  • Proactively work with cross functional teams (e.g., Policy, Product, Ops) to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.


  • Act as a change agent by influencing partner teams and orgs to improve human rights and environmental risk management systems.

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience in compliance, audit or risk management

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level

  • Experience in program or project management


  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or equivalent

  • Experience developing and implementing of standards, policies and programs or equivalent

  • Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent

  • Experience in social responsibility/human rights related to international regulations (German Supply Chain Act, CSRD, CSDDD, etc.)
