Full Job Description

As a member of the Staff Bank Team, responsible for providing a high quality temporary staffing service to all areas within SBUHB Health Board. Contribute towards an atmosphere that is conducive to good client relations, particularly with regard to inter-personal skills and communication.

  • Communicate and liaise with staff and members of partner organisations, produce work to deadlines whilst ensuring compliance with Health Board policies.
  • Support role in the effective running of the team, which includes the management of resources as part of the core duties and be expected to adopt a flexible approach when the needs of the service require.
  • Deliver timely and cost-effective temporary staffing bookings for all staff groups across the Health Board ensuring that all bookings comply with current booking procedures, protocols, NHS Employers requirements, SBUHB requirements and best practice.
  • Responsible for keeping information and data stored on the computerised system up to date.
  • Be familiar with and ensure Working Time Directives are consistently applied., The success candidate would be an integral part of the Staff Bank. Establish and maintain effective written and verbal communication with all stakeholders. Being a point of contact for Bank Staff, Managers and agencies.
  • To assist with any queries that may arise and help with booking for all areas. In doing so to ensure that compliance and working directives are maintained. Assisting staff in relation to Health Board information system such emails addresses and how to access other relevant system. Being the first point of contact for bank staff and agencies whether is it pay related, shifts queries or just general enquiries., Equality remains at the centre of the Health Boards policy-making, service delivery and employment practices. This temporary top up will be in place until the annual pay uplift for 2024/25 is confirmed.
