To participate as a member of the Anaesthetic/ Recovery or Scrub team with extensive knowledge in the care of the peri-operative patient.
To demonstrate high standards of individual patient care with a commitment to the development of evidence-based practice.
To competently care for the peri-operative patient including the assessment, planning and evaluation of programs of care

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, forward thinking, ODP/ Registered Nurse to work in our Surgical Theatres and Brachytherapy department. Our oncology theatre suite specialises in colorectal, plastics, urology and gynaecology; inclusive of robotic surgery, microsurgery and laparoscopic surgery., In return we are seeking professional, flexible, motivated, and committed team members, capable of delivering high quality, patient focused care.
Applicants must hold prior experience within the scrub practitioner role.
The successful candidate will hold the appropriate qualifications to be a current registered practitioner (RGN or ODP) and demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development. You will be committed to delivering high quality care with a desire to further develop your career within this rewarding specialty. You will need to have very good communication skills, be highly motivated, organised and be able to work using your own initiative.

We are welcoming applications to both the scrub team. In addition, for ODPs we can offer Anaesthetic/ Scrub if this is your preference. Teaching and assessing skills are desirable.
You will be required to work 37.5 hours, 4 or 5 days flexibly over 6 days (Monday to Saturday) with a commitment to out of hours on call.
