Full Job Description

We provide highly specialised care for a wide variety of patient groups within the haematology directorate. Staff in this friendly and supportive team develop a wide range of advanced skills and knowledge by rotating between the 3 main areas of Day-care in UHW, UHL and 'Offsite Nurse-Led Chemotherapy Service'.

Within these areas we care for and deliver treatment to patients with haematological disorders, including patients participating in clinical trials, throughout all stages of their cancer journey.

We also provide holistic care for haemoglobinopathy patients, as well as follow-up and treatments for patients who have undergone high dose chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant.

This exciting and dynamic nursing post will support people with haematological conditions from across Mid and South Wales.

There may also be opportunities to work within the Haematology Ward and Transplant Unit, Haemophillia centre, Teenage Cancer Trust.
