Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit Band 5 nurses to join us on our inpatient wards at Alton Community Hospital. Anstey and Inwood Wards are 20 bedded rehabilitation units. We work together as a nurse and therapy led unit with medical oversight from a Consultant Practitioner and full MDT. This is an exciting time, working towards an integrated MDT approach which recognises the important role that the Community Hospitals play in supporting the home first approach and working with the wider system acute trusts and adult service colleagues.   • To provide high standards of care for patients and their families by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care without direct supervision
  • Assist in ward management, taking charge of the area in the absence of the clinical sister or ward manager.
