The Rheumatology Department at The Royal Wolverhampton Trust is now the largest Rheumatology Service in the West Midlands providing a wide range services in Wolverhampton, Cannock, and Walsall. The service supports two-day units; one on the Wolverhampton site and the other on the Cannock site. The units will have the capacity for 22-day case spaces, 6 of which are used to support research and development within the unit.
The department has close links with a dedicated Rheumatology R&D team. In addition, the service also provides a musculoskeletal ultrasound service on the Cannock Chase Hospital site. The service also works in partnership with other neighboring Trusts to provide rheumatology clinics in Bridgnorth.
