Full Job Description
- An excellent opportunity has arisen in Interventional Radiology for a Band 5 nurse to join our dynamic and friendly team. If you are enthusiastic vibrant individual who is interested in Radiology Nursing, then this would be an ideal opportunity for you.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients undergoing all kinds of procedures in Xray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Angiography.
- The unit is open Monday to Friday as well as out of hours emergency service., To be accountable for the provision of excellent nursing care and to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
- They will be recognised as an expert in their field holding specialist knowledge and experience after a period of training.
- To administer conscious sedation after a period of training.
Potential candidates ideally must have 6-12 months post registration experience in a hospital environment. However, newly qualified nurses are also welcome to apply as well as those who are waiting for their NMC pin.
