Full Job Description
The staff nurse will work with the Multidisciplinary Team to deliver high quality and innovative nursing practice in line with HCA mission and vision and national guidelines and standards in both spinal and neuro rehabilitation
They will actively support the nursing and therapy teams in delivering outstanding patient care relating to HCA mission and values
The Rehabilitation team The Wellington Hospital are looking for an experienced staff nurse with a background of neuro and/ or spinal rehabilitation experience within an inpatient setting.
This role is both exciting and challenging, the skills required are both based on an experience of managing this specialist patient group but also utilizing a strong evidence base., Experience working in spinal and/ or neuro rehabilitation: 1 year (required)
post registration nursing: 1 year (required)
NMC registration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A good command of both written and spoken English
Experience working within a multidisciplinary team within healthcare
An ability to carry out manual handling tasks
BLS provider course completed and qualification in required upon hire, or within 3 months of hire
Able to work flexible shift pattern including weekends and nights
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
Experience working in the private sector

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Sunday
Salary: Competitive plus 9% shift allowance (dependent on skills & experience) + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)
