An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic registered chemotherapy nurse, or experienced band 5 staff nurse wishing to become chemo competent by undertaking SACT training, to join our well established Cancer Nursing Team. You will work within the team to provide outstanding clinical support and care for patients under the care of the Oncology/Haematology Department. Patients are offered expert clinical care which is compassionate and individualised
You should possess excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills and be prepared to professionally develop to meet the needs of the service. You should be visible and accessible with quality and standards as your priority. You will need to be flexible and resilient in order to cope with the demands of the role.

The Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS trust currently care for approximately 500,000 people in the Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells area. The centre also houses a busy research centre which is recognised for its work with major pharmaceutical companies in conducting vital research to support the development of new cancer treatments., MTW is a large acute hospital trust in the south-east of England.
We provide a full range of general hospital services and some aspects of specialist and complex care to around 600,000 people living in west Kent and East Sussex. We have a team of over 8,000 full and part-time staff. We also provide specialist cancer services to around 2 million people across Kent and East Sussex via the Kent Oncology Centre.
