We have new opportunities for Registered Nurses on Ferndene Hospital site, to provide specialist care for Children and Young people, between the ages of 13 - 18 years. The service provides Assessment, care and treatment for patients with mental health difficulties, Learning disabilities and/autism, in both general admission settings and secure environments.

We look forward to hearing from you!, An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring, compassionate and enthusiastic qualified Band 5 Staff Nurse (Registered Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurses) within Specialist Children and Young people services at Ferndene Hospital.
Successful applicants must have a strong commitment to the delivery of high quality, safe patient care. Applicants should have a minimum of 9 months experience within post, and if within preceptorship must be working towards sign off. Applicants should have an interest in working within Specialist care in a challenging but rewarding environment.
You will work in a highly supportive team and will be encouraged to access training opportunities to further develop your knowledge and skills., We aim to attract and retain a diverse, talented and committed workforce, who are caring and compassionate, and therefore able to meet the demands of the modern NHS now and in the future. On commencement, you will receive a robust induction to our service, service specific training to equip you in the role you have applied for, as well as mandatory training including PMVA and ILS.
You will be well supported by the Team through regular Clinical and Managerial supervision, reflective practice and team debriefs, yearly appraisals to support both your personal and professional development.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo standard NHS pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Check.
