An excellent opportunity for experienced or newly qualified nurses to join the critical care nursing team here at Royal Papworth Hospital has arisen.

We are looking for dynamic, motivated, and compassionate registered nurses to join our highly specialist and internationally renowned multi-disciplinary team. Our 46 bedded Critical Care is one of the largest and busiest in the region, with state-of-the-art facilities, we are able to provide outstanding compassionate and holistic care to our patients.

As a tertiary referral centre we look after some of the sickest patients who are referred to us for a variety of specialist services such as our ECMO (extra corporeal membrane oxygenation) service, heart and lung transplant, PCI pathway. Working in this environment is challenging and rewarding in equal amounts., Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is the UK's leading heart and lung hospital, delivering care to more than 50,000 patients a year in its new state-of-the-art hospital in Cambridge. We perform the most heart and/or lung transplants in the UK and carried out the UK's first successful heart transplant in 1979. It also offers emergency heart attack treatment, sleep centre care and is one of just five centres nationally for those in severe respiratory failure.

Based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus the largest centre of medical research and health science in Europe the Trust is at the heart of treatments of the future.
