Staff Nurse - Day Case Unit

Responsible for the streamlined admission process of Inpatients, and the admission and post-operative care of Day case patients, in a timely and organised manner. Provides advice and guidance for patients regarding surgery and health promotion. Provides support and guidance for Clinical support Workers & students Admit & prepare patients for theatre Liaise with surgeons, anesthetists, GP and physicians Instigate and check investigations as appropriate Maintain accurate and confidential clinical and nursing documentation. Safe post-operative care & discharge of Day case patients
