Staff Nurse - Discharge Lounge

The Discharge lounge is located on the lower ground floor next too the ambulance bay. We streamline discharges from the bed base and emergency department ensuring that all care needs are maintained and discharges are completed promptly, efficiently and patient centred.We are looking for an enthusiastic staff nurse who wants to make a difference and enhance our patients journey to join our team., The post holder will be responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, delivery and of nursing care for patients awaiting discharge.

Work as a member of the team, liaising with wards and flow team to streamline discharges for patients in the Trust.

The post holder will always work within the NMC's Code of Professional Conduct.

You must be enthusiastic, a good communicator, possess good organisational skills as well as the ability to work well in a team.
