Staff Nurse - Elective Care

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse to join the Elective Care Ward 4 Team at the Eelctive Hub, Hartlepool.

Hartlepol hosptial is a nurse led service working closely with surgeons and anesthetists, pre- assessment, theatres, in patient wards, x-ray, specialist nurses and physiotherapists. We support both student nurse and paramedic training, offering the opportunity to experience a wide range of surgical specialties within one placement.

Full training will be given to the successful candidates with support from highly experienced and multi skilled team and encourage development within the role.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated practitioner, who have a flexible and an adaptable approach to what can be a demanding service. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and be committed to delivering an excellent and continuously improving service for patients.

Experience as a Registered Nurse in a surgical speciality and knowledge of Orthopaedics would be advantageous, however not essential as full training will be given.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to direct their own workload in a busy and fast paced environment.
