Full Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for Registered General Nurses to join our hard-working and dedicated team of Nursing and Medical Staff in the Emergency Department at Whiston Hospital. The Emergency Department is located in a purpose built department within Whiston Hospital, has both Adult and Paediatric state of the art emergency care facilities and is committed to the ongoing development of its service; in supporting improvements within its service provision and we are presently building a new Urgent Care Centre. The post holder is desired to have demonstrable experience in an Emergency Department, and should currently be NMC Registered with a General Nurse Pin. An Enhanced DBS Certificate, with the checking of both the Children's and Adults' Barred Lists is required for this post., Whiston Emergency Department day to day assessment, treatment and discharge of patients. working within an MDT and under supervision of a band 6 and 7 RN 24 hours a day, supported by 2 PDN who link in with training and development to ensure clinical skills are up to date and maintained .

Specialist Regional Services We provide the Mersey Regional Burns & Plastic Surgery Unit at Whiston Hospital and the Spinal Injuries Unit at Southport Hospital to more than 4 million people across the whole of Merseyside, West Lancashire, Cheshire, Isle of Man and North Wales.
