Full Job Description

To assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care within sphere of responsibility.
To assist in the management and organisation of work in the clinical area.
To always act in a manner consistent with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct carrying out his/her duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.

The Outpatients Department is open Monday to Saturday providing a wide range of speciality clinics including Trauma and Orthopaedics, Ear, nose & throat, Dermatology, Respiratory Medicine, Cardiology, Rheumatology, General Surgery, Urology, Neurophysiology, Rheumatology and Neurology.
The department consists of several areas within the main Hartshead Building, Blue suite, Yellow suite, Green suite & Hartshead South OPD.
We also cover some Oncology & Haematology clinics in the Tameside Macmillan Unit which is located in the Ladysmith Building., Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust serves a community of 250,000 people across Tameside & Glossop.
