As a Staff Nurse on our haematology/oncology ward, you will:

  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate high standards of specialist care.
  • Ensure patients are cared for in a safe, compassionate, and comfortable environment.
  • Address physical, psychological, and spiritual needs through effective communication with patients, their families, and colleagues

We are dedicated to supporting you in developing your knowledge and skills in this specialist field of nursing. In this role, you will receive training in key areas such as:
  • Administering Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatments (SACT)
  • Stem cell administration
  • Various new anti-cancer treatments

    Experience in an acute nursing environment within a hospital
  • Experience within haematology or oncology setting
