Responsible for the assessment of needs, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and the delivery of a high-quality service to the critically ill patient and their relatives, in conjunction and supervision with senior staff. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the development of junior staff within the department and to ensure that they develop/enhance their own skills and knowledge appropriately within role expectations.

The Intensive Care and High Dependency Units at Tunbridge Wells Hospital are now recruiting Band 5 - Staff Nurses to join their team.
The Intensive Care department has a total of 17 modern and spacious single rooms, with 9 Intensive Care beds and 8 High Dependency beds., MTW is a large acute hospital trust in the south-east of England.We provide a full range of general hospital services and some aspects of specialist and complex care to around 600,000 people living in west Kent and East Sussex.
We have a team of over 8,000 full and part-time staff. We also provide specialist cancer services to around 2 million people across Kent and East Sussex via the Kent Oncology Centre.
