Applications are invited from enthusiastic, well-motivated and caring nurses. Our Interventional Radiology department is a purpose-built suite situated in the main radiology department. It's a dynamic, fast paced environment and it is developing rapidly. New techniques alongside new equipment and a motivated multidisciplinary team certainly ensure that no two days are the same!
There are elements of recovery nursing and surgical scrubbing involved in this post and rest assured that full training and support is promised to the successful candidate.
A minimum of 6 months post qualification experience is desirable, although newly qualified nurses are welcome to apply as a full preceptorship programme will support you; and remember there is scope to pursue a whole career in this field.
