This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact in neonatal nursing, working within one of the most respected NICUs in the South West.

+ Communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality with patient's carers and the multi disciplinary team
+ Act as a professional role model setting standards of practice
+ Promote clinical effectiveness and opportunities for teaching junior colleagues and students
+ Promote and maintain a safe environment for patients.
+ Administer medicines in accordance with Trust policy.

+ 8-12 weeks supernumerary period dependent on experience

+ Excellent training and development opportunities. We run the QIS (Qualified in Specialty) course in Bristol in partnership with University of West of England.
+ Newborn Individualized Developmental Care and Assessment Program (NIDCAP) trained nurses who are part of the Family and Infant Neurodevelopmental Education (FINE) faculty, providing FINE training to the multi-disciplinary team.
+ Support from our in-house Education team and SIM training
+ Phillips ICCA system for all monitoring, prescribing and documentation.
