Full Job Description

To work as a skilled member of the nursing team, to assist in the provision of high standards of holistic family centered care to children and families

To assist in the creation of a welcoming, caring and safe environment for the children and families To communicate effectively with the multi- disciplinary team.

Accept delegated responsibility for specific activities/areas from the senior nurse in charge

Work in line with Trust policies, protocols, objectives, and local guidelines, whilst also being aware of the importance of their role in supporting members of the team, always adhering to the Trust values, and practicing in line with NMC regulations.

We also provide community services and have a dedicated 0-19 service for children and young people in Enfield so that they can get the best possible start in life. This includes health visitors and school nurses who are delivering the national Healthy Child Programme, which provides a structured framework for the delivery of key interventions to support the health and wellbeing of children and families from 0 to 5 and school aged children from

Department opening hours are Monday - Friday 08.00 - 18.00. Working varied shift times of 7.5 hours per day.
