Full Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full or part time contracted RGN to come and join our team on the Older Persons Assessment Unit (OPAU).
The unit consists of 28 beds and a day case clinic Monday- Friday for the older person to be rapid assessed (OPRA) to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, kind, compassionate and reliable. We pride ourselves in delivering high quality, safe care of all of our patients.
As OPAU is an assessment unit we do have a high number of discharges/admissions as our aim is to discharge patients efficiently and safely.
Applicants must possess great interpersonal skills and be confident in working alongside all members of the multi disciplinary team.
We have an excellent preceptorship program and are happy to support applications from newly qualified nurses.
All new colleagues can expect to receive a warm and friendly Wirral welcome from the very first time they make contact with us. We are described as "competent and caring staff" by our patients.
