Main duties of the job
If you are passionate about eye health and looking for a rewarding opportunity in a fast-paced environment then we are inviting you to be part of our multidisciplinary team, where you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of ophthalmic care.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:
+ Managing admissions and discharges for surgical ophthalmic patients
+ Conducting thorough pre-assessments to prepare patients for their eye procedures
+ Triage of ophthalmic emergencies to ensure timely care
Our team is a vibrant mix of qualified nurses, technicians, and healthcare assistants, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care across various areas including pre-op, ward, and our bustling ophthalmic casualty service. We currently operate Monday through Saturday, with exciting plans to expand to seven-day service soon - perfect for those wanting to broaden their skills and availability!

Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
