Full Job Description

We are looking for a Staff Nurse to join our outpatients department at Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital.
Our community hospitals provide a wide range of services including in-patient rehabilitation, outpatient consultations in major specialities such as child health, dental services, therapy and rehabilitation services, minor injuries, minor illness, phlebotomy, sexual health clinics and other out-of-hours treatments
We are run by a team of Matrons, Nurses, rehabilitation assistants, health care assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, care managers, pharmacists, visiting medical officers and medical consultants., We are looking for you to be a qualified member of the Outpatients Department Team, supporting the OPD Junior Sister and maintaining the day to day running of the Department at both sites.
You'll ensure the effective management of all clinics, carrying out and assigning tasks involving direct/indirect care to the patients attending the department.
The department consists of Out-Patient clinics, with visiting Consultants from Acute Trusts - for example, Orthopaedic and Trauma, Cardiology, and Gynaecology.
