Hywel Dda University Health Board, Women and Children Directorate has an exciting opportunity for motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious RN/RSCN to join our Acute Paediatric Nursing Service, based at Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen. The clinical areas provide local services for the children, including 24 inpatient children's beds, 3 high dependency bed and a 8 bedded Paediatric Ambulatory care unit, as well as Oncology Care, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.The work is varied and offers opportunities to develop a broad range of specialised skills working within multi-disciplinary and multi-agency partnerships. We provide an excellent service to meet the needs of children and families incorporating Family Centred Care. Learning and development opportunities supported by our practice educator.

This Band 5 post is available and applicants need to be RN/RSCN/Child Branch trained with experience post registration and the ability to be nurse in charge. The successful candidate will be required to work day and night rotation. A caring attitude is essential with good written and oral skills. You must be able to manage your time effectively.
