Full Job Description
- We welcome applications from those who currently hold a UK NMC registration. If you currently hold an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship we are not currently direct hiring Internationally Qualified Nurses An opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join our busy unit working in the Imaging Department at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. You will be based at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and will work within areas of the department including CT, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology and Fluoroscopy. The Radiology Department also has a second base at Princess Royal Hospital and you will be required to rotate to our Imaging Department there when needed. The main role, however, is at Royal Sussex County Hospital., To provide professional, direct care to patients showing an awareness of the department objectives and philosophy of care. To participate in the development of junior staff and assist in the research activities in the unit. The post holder will work in a multidisciplinary led environment.Adhere strictly to all UHSussex NHS Trust policies and procedures and NMC Code of Professional Conduct. The Trust's specialised and tertiary services include neurosciences, arterial vascular surgery, neonatal, paediatrics, cardiac, cancer, renal, infectious diseases and HIV medicine. We are also the major trauma centre for Sussex and the South East.
You will be an important part of the multi disciplinary team. Radiology experience is desirable but not essential and training will be provided for all areas.
