Staff Nurse | Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust

As a staff nurse on the ward you will play an important part in the patients' recovery. Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to use and develop key skills, providing holistic assessment and patient care. You will be responsible for contributing to care, observing, monitoring and recording patients' progress whilst communicating and managing effectively any changes in their condition and planning their safe discharge. Liaising with external partners and patients' families is a very important part of the role. We are the main provider of NHS community services across East and West Sussex. Our 6,000 staff serve a population of 1.3 million providing essential medical, nursing, and therapeutic care to adults and children.
