Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join Ward B4 which is a 24 bedded acute medicine for older people ward at Royal Blackburn Hospital.

Ward B4 works closely with the acute stroke unit, specialising in the care of sub-acute stroke patients.

You will demonstrate a passion for improving the patient and relative experience. You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training to enhance pre-existing knowledge and ensure research based practice. In addition to this, you will possess well developed communication skills that will be used to engage, inspire and motivate both staff and patients in this exciting and challenging clinical area. Good time management skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise your workload and in return we will enable you to develop your clinical and leadership skills with the support from the Senior Nursing team within the Medical and Emergency Care Division.
