Full Job Description

The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of patient care in a caring, compassionate and sensitive manner. Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre-registration students.

The post holder will take delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical team and themaintenance of high standards of quality patient care on a shift basis., Are you an RN with an interest in complex health and the management of the acutely unwell patient and looking for a role at Wythenshawe Hospital?

We are looking for nurses with a passion for working with patients with complex needs.

Do you feel you could deliver a high level of care to patients in an acute setting and provide up-to-date knowledge and skills to your colleagues on the management of patients with complex needs?

Ward F12 is a complex health medical ward with a specialism in care of the older person. It consists of 28 beds. The ward works using a multidisciplinary approach and are looking for new team members who have an interest in frailty and caring for the older person with complex medical needs.

A structured induction and training program ensure that our nurses receive the following:-

-Band 5 induction - Corporate and Clinical induction - Preceptorship and clinical skills program for Nurses led by Practice Based Educators-Administration of IV drugs.

There will also be the opportunity to attend the LEAD courses provided by the trust.
