Adult Nurses looking for opportunities in Surgery, our Vascular Ward could be just the place for you! Full time and part time available.

As the Healthier Together plans continue across Greater Manchester the Oldham Care Organisation is planned to play a crucial role and the Royal Oldham Hospital has been identified as a red/hub hospital for the area.

The hospital has a full accident and emergency department and offers a comprehensive range of acute and general surgical and medical services. Offering more specialist services including clinical haematology and gynaecology, it is also home to one of only three Tertiary maternity units in the area as well as the organisations state of the art pathology lab providing a range of pathology services across the region.

T3 is a 28 bedded mixed sex ward. We have a varied shift pattern of early shifts (0730-1530), late shifts (1230-2030), long days (0730-2030), night shifts (2000-0800) and twilights (1700-0100).

We would love you to join us in a ward environment that will encourage you to develop your vascular and surgical skills, broaden your knowledge of vascular and surgical interventions as well as being supported in putting the heart of the patients at the forefront of everything you do. If complex wound management is something that is your passion along with compassionate care, then this is the ward for you. We are a friendly, supportive and patient focused team who work quickly and efficiently to ensure our patients are cared for in a safe and efficient manner. The ward is supported by a very experienced vascular nurse specialist team and works closely with all members of the MDT.
