Full Job Description

This post highlights an exciting opportunity for a nurse to significantly impact patient-centred care and enhance the well-being of renal dialysis patients. The nurse will play a crucial role in offering extensive support to individuals receiving regular haemodialysis treatment. This position requires a diverse skill set, including patient education and adeptness in utilizing advanced technology., This role involves conducting patient assessments, evaluating dialysis prescriptions, and monitoring patients' physical and mental condition through observation and interviews. The nurse will document data to assess compliance with dietary and medication regimens, review blood results, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
+ Additionally, the nurse will be responsible for initiating and administering haemodialysis treatment using various methods such as subclavian catheters, arterio-venous grafts, and fistulas. They will also administer medications, fluid therapy, and blood products.
+ Working in a fast-paced environment, the nurse will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, advanced nurse specialists, dieticians, and support staff to provide haemodialysis care services in a clinical setting.
Patient care activities will be part of the nurse's responsibilities, including vital sign monitoring and initiating,
+ performing, and discontinuing dialysis treatments. Additionally, they will manage, direct, and evaluate the nursing care provided to a defined group of patients.

White House dialysis unit offers exciting opportunities as a newly established unit ready to open soon. Initially, operating hours will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7 am to 7:30 pm. Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday 7am to 3 pm, Over time, we plan to gradually expand the schedule to include Mondays to Saturdays from 7 am to 7:30 pm,
Our team serves outpatients from the surrounding areas, providing dialysis services. Joining the White House dialysis unit is an exciting chance to work with a friendly and supportive team. In this environment, we empower patients to participate in their care actively. We seek highly motivated individuals eager to learn about dialysis skills, and prior experience is optional. Once you pass the interview process, we will assign you to the Milton Keynes dialysis unit for skill development.
The role requires flexibility, the ability to adapt quickly, and a well-organized and assertive approach to care.
