Full Job Description

To be part of a highly motivated team, providing a high standard of clinical care within a Podiatric Surgery unit.
To act as a specialist liaison for the Community Podiatry Team providing specialist advice regarding the Podiatric Surgery service to Podiatrists, professionals in other fields and patients.
To assist the responsible Podiatric Consultant in conducting out-patient clinics and theatre.
Adhere to policies, strategies and objectives of the Podiatric Surgery team and employing NHS Trust.
To recognise and speak up about improvements to policies, strategies and objectives of the Podiatric Surgery team.

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic band 7 Staff Podiatrists.
The hours will be over 2 days covering the Ilkeston Hospital in theatre and also in outpatients.
You will work as a member of the Ilkeston or Chesterfield Podiatric Surgery teams in the Ilkeston Theatre Suite at Ilkeston Community Hospital and providing outpatient care at Ilkeston or Scarsdale, Chesterfield sites
Our team focuses on outpatient and day case Podiatric Surgery. Therefore, it is essential that you have a keen interest and some experience in this field.
Your work will involve working with the Podiatric Surgery teams within outpatients and theatre.
The successful candidate will need to have HCPC registration and a degree in Podiatry.
If you can demonstrate good communication skills, have the ability to plan and organise, are competent and can deliver evidence-based clinical care, we want to hear from you!
