Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Qualified Nurse to work alongside the Occupational Health Team to administer Flu and Covid vaccines to our staff in CDDFT. This post is to support existing vaccinators to ensure we deliver a prompt and efficient service to all our staff members. It is an opportunity to enhance or update your clinical skills and meet the staff who work for CDDFT, You will work under the management of the Occupational Health Nurse Manager and alongside other vaccinators to administer the Flu and Covid vaccines across the three main sites to staff who work for CDDFT. You will attend all departments to offer the vaccinations and promote the importance of the vaccinations in protecting our patients and colleagues. The post is fixed term to cover the seasonal campaign. Training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in role.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
