Full Job Description

Duties and responsibilities: To be a dynamic member of the MSK OPD Team providing expert assessment and treatment of patients referred from primary care or secondary care. To have a role involved with the triaging of patient referrals.
To provide support and supervision to junior members of staff, physiotherapy practitioners, assistants and students. You will be required to provide administrative tasks to maintain accurate records and an efficient service. Obtain verbal consent from patients before starting the assessment or treatment.
You will play a role in developing the service, promoting health awareness, being involved in In service training. You will be involved in some Community Based Groups including "Escape Pain", following training and supervision for the group.
Competencies will be completed over a period of time within protected supervision with a senior member of the physiotherapy team.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who would like to experience working with patients in a fast paced, health care outpatient setting.
You will be an essential part of a team of therapists working in the MSK outpatient Dept., you will rotate across 3 sites including Runcorn , Widnes and Warrington.
