Full Job Description

We are looking for an individual who has electrical experience/expertise. The post holder is a good team player, organised, and willing to do tasks as needed, with great attention to detail. The post holder iscourteous in their interactions with staff, contractors, and service users at all times. The post holder is physically fit for undertaking maintenance tasks. The post holder is able to organise their daily workload to complete the tasks in the given priorities, whilst meeting all quality standards, service level agreements and compliance requirements. The post holder is responsible for their own work including associated cleaning and porterage tasks, and complies with all NHS policy standards and health and safety requirements., The post holder:

  • Performs some semi-skilled maintenance tasks and checks, including basic Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) checks for Water, Fire, Ventilation, Electrical and Building Fabric to ensure the Trust's buildings and grounds adhere to statutory compliance and are fit for purpose.
  • Installs, maintains, services and repairs a range of estates services equipment across all areas of their responsibility. Delivers small Minor Works projects on site as agreed with QTS.
  • Competent Person level in at least one of the following: Water, Electrical, Ventilation, Lifts, Fire, Medical Gas, Pressure System, or other estate-related area
  • Assigned to a designated site. On occasion, may be required to work across other sites.
  • Builds relationships with Site Service Managers (SSMs), QTS staff, stakeholders and external service providers and contractors, to support the delivery of services in a professional, timely manner.
