Sterile Services Technician

Fairfield Independent Hospital is a small charitable (not for profit) organisation with a small friendly team within Sterile Service. The team offer support to two theatres, Outpatients' Minor Surgery Service and Endoscopy. The team offers local people excellent healthcare at a time that fits with their commitments. You will be part of the support team offering patients a wide range of specialities from cataract surgery to joint replacement., The role involves providing a decontamination service throughout the Hospital as well as supporting Theatre Practitioners in the delivery of patient care. The post holder will operate various machinery designed to decontaminate and process surgical instruments.
