Full Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Stock Office Supervisor reporting directly to the General Manager, to join our Team located at our Holmewood depot - Tupton Way, Holmewood, Derbyshire S42 5BX.,
- Manage all day-to-day activities of Goods in, order processing, booking diary and stock control.
- Update Workday and Dayforce.
- Direct and coordinate physical inventory checks.
- Develop and manage inventory control procedures.
- Manage the Queries inbox for inventory needs, recalls, questions and possible issues.
- Recommend appropriate action for excess or damaged stock.
- Arrange cover and authorise holidays as required.
- Lead and motivate the team.
- Examine systems and controls and provide recommendations for improvement of stock office procedures and practices.
Experience of Inventory Control in a warehousing and/or distribution environment. - Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Packages - Word, Excel and Outlook experience is essential.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
- Experience of supervising a team.
- Experience of dealing with customers, customer queries and customer audits.
