Full Job Description
We are looking for a Stock & Systems Operative to join our Wincanton team at our Templecombe site. You will report directly to the Stock & Systems Manager to provide flexibility, capability to perform all aspects of warehousing to meet all key performance indicators and exceed customer expectations.,
- Maintain stock accuracy/integrity to contractual level and target continuous improvement in accuracy levels
- Complete stock and inventory processes/ Cycle Counting
- Effectively manage resources to achieve KPI's (quality, service, absence).
- Recording performance reports, making recommendations for improvements
- Provide a responsive and professional service to customers
- Co-ordinate and communicate with the customer on all stock discrepancies
- Ensure all product is handled correctly to avoid damages
- Carry out in depth stock investigations
- Support with Customer Non Conformance investigations and reporting back to Distribution Centre Manager / SHEQ Manager as applicable

Clear understanding and experience of Stock and Inventory Management - High level of experience and knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
- PC literate and numerate with good communication skills, including a minimum of a basic understanding of Microsoft Office as required
- Attention to detail required to assume quality checking/quality control
- Ability to work as part of a team but also independently and to show initiative
- A proactive, flexible and "can do" attitude to resolve issues and challenges
