Full Job Description

A typical day as a Stop Smoking Advisor might include :

  • Delivering evidence-based interventions that focus on smoking cessation, behaviour

  • change, and psychological support to save lives by helping smokers to quit for good.
  • Attending face-to-face stop smoking clinics and working with clients on a one-to-one

  • basis in person to support them with their quit attempt.
  • Working with partner organisations and colleagues in Primary Care to help improve

  • patient uptake and meet targets.
  • Ensuring an excellent and safe experience for clients using our policies and procedures

  • Working with colleagues across all of our Thrive Tribe services to contribute to new

  • projects and service developments - we're always looking to share knowledge and
    resources!
  • Ensuring due consideration if given to Information Governance and Clinical Governance

  • legislation, requirements and guidance.
  • Helping us maintain the ethos of Thrive Tribe by driving our organisational culture

    At Thrive Tribe we deliver award-winning healthy lifestyle and wellbeing programmes that make people happier and healthier! One You Surrey is an integrated healthy lifestyle service that delivers free stop smoking support and adult weight management programmes people in Surrey. We're looking for two people to join our team as Stop Smoking Advisors working in our community-based Stop Smoking clinics in the county.

  • Contract: Fixed-term for 12 months (subject to continued funding), Full Time (37.5 hours)

    Salary: Starting at £22,500 per year (potentially rising to £25,000)
