Full Job Description
- Lead and inspire the store Communication and Interior Design team to use knowledge of IKEA home furnishing and people's life at home to grow the business.
- Be Partner of the Store Management Team to stimulate and increase interest in home furnishing for all co-workers in the store.
- Be the creative leader by initiating and facilitating workshops to generate creative directions, able to follow and anticipate the consumer trends.
- Secure vitality and seasonality in the store by creating and implementing a store commercial calendar together with the store management team.
- Contribute with knowledge of people's Life at Home and consumer shopping behavior in the creation and implementation of the store business plan.
- Lead and challenge the Communication and Interior Design team to constantly take actions that exploit commercial opportunities both in the short and long term.
Are you a creative and strategic thinker with the ambition of delivering a new outstanding experience, as well as inspiring and surprising visitors through an exceptional visual impression?, You have experience in working in a design-orientated role, managing, inspiring, leading and developing people and creative processes, visual competence, including a keen eye for aesthetics. - You have the ability to work in a fast-paced, future-oriented environment developing people and growing personal competence.
- You prioritise the work to meet the needs and expectations of store visitors and minimise disruption when working on the shop floor.
- You have knowledge in design software such as Autodesk REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- You have the ability to express ideas and opinions effectively through excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence and build effective relationships across all levels.
- You are curious, innovative, and driven by a desire to do things differently.
- You have an exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly when faced with operational challenges inherent to the retail industry.
- You are passionate about people with the ability to lead, support and develop in a high performing environment.
This role offers a salary starting from £41,500 per annum, final salary offer will be made based on skills and experience. - Living Wage Foundation Employer
- 39 hours per week over 5 days , including late evenings and alternate weekends.
