Storekeeper

As a Storekeeper, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be supporting the team in forging new paths, contributing as the team grows through exciting, but sometimes challenging change. Day-to-day, you will conduct inventory / stock checks and order any required stock. You will also issue items to soldiers, including clothing, weapons and spares for army vehicles.

• Interface with customers, suppliers, and colleagues ensuring the smooth transfer of goods, to include issuing, receipt and returns.
• Ensuring the inventory systems are kept up to date, to ensure the smooth management of the stores functions
• Ensure a high standard of housekeeping within the stores, and minimising risks
• Drive Land Rovers and operate forklift trucks
• Be responsible for the security and safe handling of Company and Authority equipment
This role is full time working 39 hours per week and is based on site at Bovington.


• Driving Licence
• Competent IT skills; proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work as part of a team and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and the customer
• Good interpersonal skills for interacting confidently with customers
• Good general health and safety awareness
Qualifications for the Storekeeper:

Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
