Full Job Description

The Stores Assistant will be accountable for delivering a reliable and quality supply chain service to their customers. They will be responsible for storeroom and inventory management, including the safety and security of the stock/consumables within the store. The Stores Assistant will source items for the stock inventory (in line with the University procurement procedures) and keep accurate records. The postholder is responsible for the issue and receipt of all deliveries of equipment, material and stock and the dispatching of goods and products to the correct person or department.

The Research Services Division is a key enabler to the delivery of the University's Strategy 2030, the Research and Impact Strategy, successful REF performances, and meeting research income targets. The starting salary will be from £27,344 up to £30,505 on Grade D, depending on qualifications and experience. Generous holiday allowances, flexible working, pension scheme.
