If you are ready to be part of a transformative journey, come and join us., We are currently seeking a Stores Coordinator to join our Materials team at the Northam Depot in Southampton. At this location, we maintain and repair various types of rolling stock, including the Class 444 and Class 450 Desiro units, which operate on the busy London Waterloo to Portsmouth and Weymouth routes. As the Stores Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the depot is optimally stocked with essential materials, including tooling, consumables, and spare parts. This is critical for enabling the depot team to meet the requirements of the maintenance schedule efficiently. This role will be Monday to Friday working 40 hours per week.   • Updating relative order/materials databases
  • Use of internal ordering platforms SAP / One SRM to procure materials
  • Control and order stores/depot consumables and tooling
  • Management of RMA returns
  • Liaising with vendors and obtaining quotes.
  • Raise transport requests for the transportation of material through authorised accounts to move material to other depot/suppliers
  • Assist within the stores' operation (picking, packing & dispatch) as required.

    Good written and oral communication skills
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Basic engineering knowledge is preferred but not essential
  • Warehouse and/or logistical experience is preferred but not essential
