Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stores Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in aircraft stores and inventory management. The successful candidate will support the daily operations of the stores department, ensuring that all aircraft parts, tools, and supplies are managed efficiently in a fast-paced environment. What are your contributions to the team?

  • Assist with the daily operations of the stores department, including receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing aircraft parts and supplies.
  • Ensure proper documentation and labelling of inventory items in compliance with Bombardier's standards and aviation regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using the company's inventory management system.
  • Support the physical organization of the store, ensuring items are stored in an orderly manner and according to safety regulations.
  • Assist with stock checks and inventory audits, helping to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Help prepare parts and materials for aircraft maintenance and repair operations.
  • Collaborate with the procurement and maintenance teams to ensure timely availability of parts and materials.
  • Support the team with data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to Bombardier's health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant aviation and warehouse safety standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize store operations and reduce downtime.

    Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management and logistics is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge or interest in the aviation industry is a plus.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (as needed) and work in a warehouse environment.
