Full Job Description

As a Stores Operative, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Working as part of a multi discipline operational output to a prestigious contract.

Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for managing network stores holdings and providing support to the Customer Network Teams whilst accounting for the comprehensive asset portfolio.

  • Perform a logistics role within a store's environment, including the following logistics/stores functions: good inwards, inventory stock checks, order preparation and dispatch

  • Ensure accurate updates of the require asset management systems during issuing and receiving of stores items

  • Communicate with customers and suppliers, in regard to delivery status and ensuring items are ready to collect

  • Ensure a high standard of housekeeping/cleanliness within the stores promote and safe and clean working environment. Additionally advising of potential risks and mitigation where appropriate to line manager

  • Assist and contribute with record keeping and reporting of KPI's though monthly auditing of assets held within stores

  • To contribute to a growing team within the engineering services contract.


  • This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Ashchurch.

    Essential experience of the Stores Operative
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Possess an adequate knowledge of, and compliance with, Health and Safety Policy and Regulations


  • Qualifications for the Stores Operative
  • Minimum GCSE Level Maths and English

  • UK Driving Licence


  • Security Clearance
    The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
