If you are ready to be part of a transformative journey, come and join us., The Siemens Bogie Service Centre (BSC) in Lincoln specialises in the maintenance and overhaul of train bogies, ensuring high-quality, reliable service for various Siemens train models across the UK. We are now seeking a Stores Supervisor to join our team in Lincoln. In this role, you will ensure that the Stores operation aligns with the Production plan and oversee general operations. Additionally, you will work closely with and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Stores Coordinators. You'll make a difference by ….

  • Manage stock control, including receiving, dispatching, inspecting, and issuing materials, while updating order and materials databases.
  • Ensure store security, monitor depot fire equipment, and oversee the status of technical devices and systems for safe material handling.
  • Assist technical staff with material identification, raise order requests, and manage local SAP orders for depot personnel.
  • Lead and train the Stores team, supervise automatic stock reorder levels, and oversee packing, loading, and unloading to prevent damage.
  • Ensure materials are picked and delivered according to maintenance needs, legislation, and procedures, coordinating transportation as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers, implement safe systems, and continuously seek opportunities for mutual benefit.

    Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in digital literacy.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven experience in supervising personnel.
  • Valid UK driving license and forklift license (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or stores role with basic engineering knowledge.
