Full Job Description

The Storey & Events team are looking to recruit a dynamic individual who will be tasked with improving the current offer to maximise income generation across The Storey & Events team remit. You will primarily be based at The Storey looking after The Printroom café and bar with the operation and management of the bar at Ashton Hall to support commercial activity at Lancaster Town Hall as part of your role.

You will be responsible for the activities of the Catering Assistants and Casual staff at The Storey & Events Team. Ensuring effective and efficient use of available resources and to continually review to ensure improvements in service delivery, both operational and financial. Hold responsibility for the line management of employees, including performance management, recruitment and selection, team building, employee development, sickness absence management and discipline.

You will need to either hold or be willing to work towards Food hygiene certificate and a Personal Licence.

A full current UK driving licence is essential, as the post holder will be required to work across different sites to suit business needs. This post is permanent. The hours of work for this position are 37 per week, working 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays. This post is based at The Storey.
