Full Job Description

The post holder will be responsible for:

Working closely with leads and teams from across the organisation in recognition of the collaborative working required to successfully deliver the wider organisational strategic vision, Promises and outcomes.

Responsible for ensuring the development and introduction of an environment to allow a thriving culture which encourages visionary planning, collaborative working, a delivery focused approach and continuous improvement and innovation.

Ensure community power runs through all key activity within the portfolio. Leading on all areas associated with the Strategic Development portfolio, providing professional direction, management and guidance to inform decision making and initiating new ways of working.

Maintain a current awareness of internal and external drivers for the delivery of our strategy.

Identify and interpret national good practice and guidance that can inform the delivery of Strategic Objectives and Promises, clearly developing how this can be applied locally.

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Strategic Development, you will be enthusiastic, innovative, and highly organised. Also, you will need to have significant experience of working at a senior level in the field of strategy and/or the NHS and have broad knowledge how the NHS operates. You will have great opportunities to work with our clinicians, managers, colleagues and partners to make sure our communities benefit from what we do.
